How to access a world

Open your World link in an approved browser:

Microsoft Edge
Firefox is currently not an approved browser
Complete the prompts. These may vary depending on how your World was setup by its Admin and will include one of the following sequences:
Already a member: Enter your email and password and click "Log In."
Create Account: Enter your name, email and create a password. Click "Create Account." Configure your camera and microphone, and then click "Continue."
Join as Guest: Enter your name and click "Continue." Configure your camera and microphone, and then click "Continue."
Allow the browser access access to your camera and microphone.
You can always check your permissions by selecting the lock icon in the URL.
If you change your permissions, you will need to refresh your browser and log in again.
Select your camera, microphone and audio output.
If you don't see your devices, check that the browser has permission, then check that your computer recognizes your devices. For more help, check out out Troubleshooting audio and video article.
How do I appear in a World
Upon entering the world, you will be represented as a circle or bubble.
If your camera is on, your camera feed will show inside your avatar. If your camera is off, your first and last name initials will appear.
You can upload a photo of your choice using the “Edit Profile” feature.
Select "Edit My Profile" and then "Edit Profile Image" when the window pop up.

How to have the best experience
Use Google Chrome as your browser
To have the best experience, use an up-to-date version of Google Chrome to access Double A. Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Firefox are not optimized for the platform.
A stable Internet connection of 5mbps or faster
Good WiFi will enable you to interact with other users clearly and enjoy all the interactive components in the world. You can check your Internet connection by going to speedtest.net and select GO.
Log on with a laptop or desktop computer
Use a device that is newer than 5 years old. Below are minimum and optimal computer specs. If you are presenting or hosting, it is best to have the optimal computer specs.

Wear headphones or a headset
It is important that all guests in a world use headphones or a headset. Without headphones, your experience may be subject to echo and background noise.
Close other tabs and programs
Other programs and tabs may consume your computer’s resources and network connection especially communications and messaging apps like Skype, and make sure no downloads are being done (P2P, OS updates, etc).
