Your audio is an important part of your experience in the World. Here’s how to access, change, and check your settings for optimal performance. Review the steps below or click on a step for more information.

When entering a World for the first time, your browser will request access to your camera and microphonetypically through a pop-up notification.

Click “Allow” to access these devices in your World.

If you didn't catch the pop up message, you can check your permissions by selecting the lock icon in the URL of your browser.

When prompted, select your camera, microphone, and audio output from the Audio/Video menu.

If you did not allow permission to your camera or microphone, the drop down menu will be empty.

You can change or check your camera and microphone device settings at any time.

Select the gear icon at the top right corner of your screen and click “Audio/Video” for a drop-down menu of available devices.

If you're using a camera or microphone that is still not appearing, check the system settings on your computer.
