User Access Options

Here are the options an Admin can set for a user's access to the World.

Admins can handle which types of accounts have access to enter the World.

Admins can allow

All the settings can be checked/unchecked with checkboxes and can be set in a variety of combinations.

Admins can set the account permissions via the Admin Panel World Settings, as shown below:

The default Login page is shown below:

Admin Only Access

Admin-only access only allows administrators to log in. This setting is automatically set if all other settings are unchecked.

Admin-Only Combinations

  • Admin-access only

    • When all other settings are unchecked.

Admin-Only Login

Guest Only Access

Guest-access allows visitors to create guest accounts to enter the world. If this setting is unchecked; visitors will either have to create a new account or log in with an existing account.

Guest-Access Combinations

  • Guest-access only

  • Guest-access + Registered-user-access

  • Guest-access + Registered-user-access + Account-creation

Registered User Access

Registered-user-access allows users with existing accounts to login and enter the world. If this setting is unchecked, visitors will not be able to create new accounts, and will have to either enter as a guest or log in as an administrator to enter the world.

Registered-User-Access Combinations

  • Registered-user-access only

  • Registered-user-access + Account-creation

  • Registered-user-access + Account-creation & Guest-access

Allow Account Creation

Allow-account-creation allows new users to create a new account for the world. For newly created accounts to log in, the Registered-user-access setting must be checked and Allow-account-creation cannot be set if Registered-user-access is unchecked.

Allow-Account-Creation Combinations

  • Allow-account-creation + Registered-user-access

  • Allow-account-creation + Registered-user-access + Guest-access
