While it is the best experience to use a computer to access a World, you can experience the platform on a mobile device. We're currently working on optimizing the mobile experience for both iOS and Android users.
iPhone / iPad /iOS users
Users, after updating their iPhones to iOS 16.4, can now access their microphone and camera, allowing them to fully participate in the world.
If your device is not updated to iOS 16.4, you will be able to see and hear others in the World, in addition to click on content, use Room Chat, and navigate to different rooms. You will not be able to use your own camera or microphone.
To access a World, open Safari and type in the World URL.
You will see a message that suggests using a desktop computer for the best experience. Select "Let's Try It" to stay on your mobile device.
When you log into the World, allow the website access to your camera and audio. You can select and test your camera and mic settings. Select "Continue" to enter the World.
The mobile user interface is similar to and functions the same as the desktop computer interface.
To move your avatar or the background, use your finger to hold down and drag. You can also pinch the background to zoom in or out.
When you are ready to leave the World, simply close the browser or tab.
Android users
Android users will be able to interact, navigate, communicate and explore the World without limitations. Make sure to hear a headset or headphones for the best experience.
To access a World, open Chrome and type in the World URL.
You will see a message that suggests using a desktop computer for the best experience. Select "Continue" to stay on your mobile device.
